SMYRNA - William J. C. Francis, Jr., "Bill" passed away on Feb. 20, 2015. He was born June 11, 1942, to the late William Sr., and Pauline Francis. He served his country with honor for 22 years in the US Army Reserve. Bill was an avid duck hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed working on cars. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy; two sons, William Francis, III (his wife Selina) of Smyrna and John Francis of Dover, Del.; his daughter, Mary Francis of Smyrna; three grandchildren, Jaxen, Logan and Landon; and his brother, Karl Francis of Cali. A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from at 12 noon in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna, Del.
