LINCOLN - William H. Watt Jr., of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, in his home surrounded by his family. He was 58.
Mr. Watt was born in Reading, Pa., son of the late Elaine (Lowe) and William H. Watt Sr.
He was a fabricator for D&B Products-Rowe Division, Georgetown.
He was a hard worker and loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Watt enjoyed model trains and model cars. He was an avid NASCAR fan and Darrell Waltrip was his favorite driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Hazel (Hulstine) Watt; a son, Lawrence W. Watt and his girlfriend, Caroline McCray of Lincoln; a grandson he was raising, Lawrence J. "L.J." Watt; three brothers, Lawrence A. Watt of Reading, Terrance Watt of Pottstown, Pa., and Robert Watt of Reading; a sister, Patty Smith of Reading; several nieces and nephews; an adopted sister-in-law, Leslie "Fire" Liberty of California; a brother-in-law, Jay Hulstine and his family of Harrington; and a special friend, Jacqui Jones of Lincoln.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses to Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford DE 19963.
