William H. "Henny Poop" Drummond I, 49

MILLSBORO - William H. "Henny Poop" Drummond I of Millsboro died of natural causes Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 49.

Mr. Drummond was last employed by Hardwood Mills Lumber Co. of Frankford, from where he retired due to his failing health and medical disability.

He enjoyed life to the fullest. He could always be counted upon by his family and friends to tell jokes and keep them in stitches.

Mr. Drummond was also blessed with the talent for drawing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Drummond and Lelia M. Drummond-Dale; and a sister, Vera E. Curtis.

He is survived by four sons, Christopher Purnell of Millsboro, William Henry Drummond II and Dione Drummond, both of Felton, and Shawn Heffentrager of Millsboro; a daughter, Tashika Osborn of Cambridge, Md.; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Sharon Johnson and her companion, DeAngelo Fisher of Millsboro, with whom he resided, Ida and David Bowen of Clarksville and Edith West of Millsboro; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, James G. and Betty Drummond of Georgetown and Timothy Drummond and his companion, Francine Custis of Gumboro; three uncles, William Drummond of Dagsboro, Josiah Isler of Salisbury, Md., and Sidney Bivens of Princess Anne, Md.; and two aunts, Cordelia Hopkins of Millsboro and Francine Scott of Salisbury.

Funeral services will be noon today in St. John"s Second Baptist Church, Mount Joy, Millsboro, where friends may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Annie Custis will officiate.

Burial will be in Mount Joy Cemetery, Millsboro.

Arrangements by Deborah E. Harris-Nock Funeral Services, Greenwood.
