William Glen Fisher

DOVER - William "Bill" Glen Fisher passed away, Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at State Street Assisted Living, Dover.
Mr. Fisher was born May 9, 1924, in Geneva, Ohio, to the late Maurice E. Fisher and Mary Virginia Bell Fisher.
He served in the U.S.A.A.C. in WWII. Mr. Fisher was an Air Reserve Technician (Civil Service) in the United States Air Reserve (ret. 1984 M.SGT.) retired in 1988.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Flora Lena Fisher, in 2005. He spent his later years with his companion, Margaret Ann Willey, who recently passed December 2016.
He is survived by his children, Glennis Fisher Kelly (Eugene), of Lake Cathie, NSW, Australia, Maurice Edwin Fisher (Donna), of Pittsburgh, Pa., Glen (Susan), of Dover, Philip Fisher (Lisa), of Blacklick, Ohio, Dale Fisher (Sara), of Gahanna, Ohio and Deborah Ann Dille (Matt), of Hartly; grandchildren, Chip, Matt, Mark, Krissy, Denise, Stephanie, Wendy, Robin, Justin, Ryan, Courtney, Aaron, Shane, Jessica, Kyle, Mikayla and Tyler; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at State Street Assisted Living for the generous care that was given to their father during his residency there.
