MAGNOLIA- William F. Earley passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 in his home surrounded by his loving family. William was born on Nov. 28, 1930 in Bridgeton, N.J., son of the late William and Mary (Carter) Earley. He served his country proudly in the Marine Corp. He later taught safe boating courses through DNREC with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxilliary. William retired in 1991 from the Diamond State Telephone Company serving 34 years. After his retirement he drove for Hilton Bus Service. He was past president of the Camden-Wyoming Little League and also was Pop Warner coach for the DAFB team. Bill was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America & Dover Rotary Club. His hobbies included boating, clamming and fishing. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris E. Stokes, and Mary E. Ellis. William is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Alice Earley; four children, Susan Galbreath & husband, Ronald, William F. Earley, Jr, & wife, Deborah, Diane A. Earley, and Terry Doyle, all of Magnolia; sister, Ruth E. Potter & husband, Stan, of Magnolia; six grandchildren, Aaron W. Brown, of Wilmington; Amanda Fretz, Jennifer Matticks & husband, Josh, Melissa D. Earley, Reese F. Earley & Cameron Galbreath, all of Magnolia; three great-grandchildren, Cadence Fretz, Jordyn L. Matticks, and Ryleigh Earley; and a special niece, Sandy Murray & husband, Mike. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where family and friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S.
