My dad, William D. Bliss was born July 24, 1939 in Pottstown, Penn. to my grandparents, John and Alberta Bliss.
Even at an early age he liked to raise hell. When my dad was in his early 20's he decided to join the army during the Vietnam War to stay out of trouble. He held the title of SP4 and spent some time in Germany. During the mid 70's he met Georgene Wallace and her four children; Earl, Bonnie, Frank, and Winnie. Soon after they had a me, Frederick Bliss. They where married for over 26 years until Georgene's passing in 2004. He loved her and stayed by her side until she passed away at home. Dad loved hunting and fishing with his family. He enjoyed making his own fishing nets, sinkers, fishing poles, and even learned how to make all sorts of clothing out of leather. Dad may have been a hard person to live with in his younger years but was a loving grandfather (Pop-pop Bill) who loved all his grandchildren till his passing on May 13, 2020 at the age of 80. He will be missed.
