William 'Bill' Campbell Goldsborough, 82
William "Bill" Campbell Goldsborough of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. He was born on February 5, 1939 in Dover, Delaware to William C. and Florence Mary Goldsborough. Bill grew up in Delaware and became a school teacher for the Capital School District. He moved to Texas in 1989 where he continued to educate in San Antonio. Later, he retired and moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Bill continued tutoring and also held sales positions with Enterprise and Sears.
Mr. Bill was loved by everyone; He was known for his big heart, infectious smile and his love for his family. He enjoyed playing bridge, golf, tennis, coaching his daughters swim team and teaching his grandchildren how to swim.
Bill is survived by his fiancé of 23 years, Dawn D. Kilcrease; Daughters, Rebecca Gregory of Jacksonville, FL and Elizabeth Stewart of Seaford, DE; grandchildren, Tyler, Caitlyn, Megan, Cody, Caleb and Leah; great granddaughter, Sophia Knight; siblings, Mary Jean Spence of San Antonio, Texas, Judy and Fred Sublette of Fort Walton Beach, FL; nephews, Craig, Douglas, Michael Spence and Ricky Sublette.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 beginning at 4:00pm at Davis Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, 32547.
