William 'Bill' C. Highsmith Jr., 70

CLAYTON, N.C. - William 'Bill' C. Highsmith Jr., passed away on March 21, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Joyce C. Highsmith; daughters, Malinda Gormsen and husband Bill of Chesapeake, Va., and Leanne Royster and husband Derek of Charlotte; and grandchildren, William H. Gormsen, Derek W. Royster Jr., Jake B. Royster, and Kyle H. Royster. Services were held Monday, March 23, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Clayton. The Dr. Mark White and Rev. Andrew Hale officiated. Burial was Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in Forest Lawn East, Charlotte. Condolences may be made at www.mclaurinatpinecrest.com. Arrangements by McLaurin at Pinecrest, Funerals & Cremations, Clayton.
