William A. Trimborn, 90

FREDERICA - William A. Trimborn, 90, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.

Born and raised in Darby, he lived there for 53 years before moving to Frederica, where he resided for the past 26 years. He was a graduate of Darby High School, class of 1934, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Trimborn retired from both Ford Motor Co., and Reynolds Metals, where he was employed for many years as building supervisor. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, bowling and woodworking.

Son of the late John and Ella Kloss Trimborn, he was also predeceased by his wife, Margaret H. Simms Trimborn; and a daughter, Helen Trimborn.

Surviving are his daughter, Sandi Clancy and her husband John Sr. of Prospect Park; two grandchildren, John Jr. and Colleen Karolyi and her husband Steve; two great-granddaughters, Caitlin and Mackenzie Karolyi; a sister, Mildred Beaston of Bradenton, Fla.; and his beloved friend, Harriet Bradley of Frederica.

Funeral service will be noon Tuesday in Marvil Funeral Home, 1110 Main St., Darby, Pa.

Burial will be in S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.

There will be a viewing Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
