Willard 'Junior' Homer Dehorty Jr., 57

FELTON - Willard "Junior" Homer Dehorty Jr., of Felton, died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at home. He was 57. He was born Sept 17, 1951, in Easton, Md., to the late Willard H. Dehorty Sr., and Margaret Bradley Dehorty of Clayton. Mr. Dehorty was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed as a carpenter and farmer by Mr. William Satterfield for many years. He enjoyed deer hunting and camping. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Paula Dehorty of Felton; four sons, Willard H. Dehorty III of Harrington, Adam Dehorty of Pennsylvania, Jeremy Dehorty and fiancee Christina of Sandtown, and one son of Greensboro, Md.; one brother, George Dehorty and wife Jen of Henderson, Md.; three sisters, Barbara Bailey of Hartly, Betty Jean Smith of Clayton, and Sophie Beaver and husband Carl of Felton; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where a visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Felton. Letters of condolence may be sent via www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
