Lewis, Jr., 'T', 21 SMYRNA - Wayne Thomas Lewis, Jr., "T", age 21, of Smyrna, passed away on August 29, 2015. He was born July 23, 1994 in Dover to Wayne Thomas Lewis, Sr. of Smyrna and Verna A. Lewis of Smyrna. T was employed at Pro Finish Plus in Barclay, Md. Wayne is remembered by his friends and family as a great baseball player, avid outdoorsman and a good hearted person. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and crabbing. T was a Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, Kelsey Laird of Townsend and best friend, Kyle Lewis of Smyrna. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Isaac Lewis and Betty C. Plass; a step-grandfather, Nathan Plass; and a half-brother, William Thomas Lewis. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his mother's boyfriend and mentor, Christopher J. Rincon; his brother, William A. Yoder & wife Susan and their seven children, all of Dover; his sister, Rebekah Ruth Lewis of Smyrna; his maternal grandparents, Ammon J. and Lizzie D. Yoder of Dover; 14 aunts and uncles; and many 1st and 2nd cousins. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, the family is seeking donations to the funeral home to help defray expenses. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
