Wayne Reynolds Brown

DOVER - Wayne Reynolds Brown, Sr. passed away, Thursday, June 14, 2018. Mr. Brown was born April 8, 1936 in Harrington to the late Odoth Brown and Ella Wix Brown.
He served in the United States Army as military police. Mr. Brown retired in 1984 after 18 years from Tilcon as a mason. He enjoyed fox hunting, baseball and gardening. Mr. Brown was a member of the Eastern Shore Fox Hunters Association.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Brown, 2004; and son, Wayne "Randy" Brown, Jr., 2016.
He is survived by his son, Alex C. Brown (Mary Stone) of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Ann Marie Anacay of Newark and Barbara Mikolajczyk (Jim) of New Castle; grandchildren, Rachel Rost and Nicole Anacay.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, June, 19, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company, 191 Main Street, Cheswold, DE 19936.
