Harrington - Warren J. Morgan passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at the Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Morgan served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for almost 23 years. He served during the Vietnam Era and retired as a Tech Sergeant. Presently he worked at the Stevenson House of Milford as a Youth Rehabilitation Counselor II.
Mr. Morgan loved to play golf and golfed on a league with his Stevenson House buddies every Thursday. He loved technology and was a tech junkie. He loved his toys and loved to cruise in either his corvette or slingshot motorcycle. He loved eating out and took his wife to Stargate of Harrington every night.
Mr. Morgan was a good hearted person. He never met a stranger and was a lot of fun to be around; although he loved to tease and aggravate his wife, it was all in fun. If he knew you needed $5, he would give you $10. His loving, caring, good hearted nature will forever be missed.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Thomisina.
In addition to his mother, Luellen Morgan; he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rujean Morgan; son, Eric Morgan; daughter and son in law, Bobbie and Tex Jester; sister, Regina Baxter; brother in laws, Jack Stewart and partner Frank Tolson, James Stewart; grandchildren, Ariel Morgan, Jaden Morgan, Bobbie (Jeffrey) Johnson, Ann (Curtis) Harbin; and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. with a visitation for family, friends and co-workers starting one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
