MILLSBORO - Wanda M. Pittenger of Millsboro died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 58.
Wanda was a retired restaurateur, most recently working for Shore Stop, Millsboro.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society"s Razzle Dazzle Dames of Indian Summer Village, Millsboro.
Wanda was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with AmVets Post 2.
She was a wonderful mother and friend, who uplifted everyone"s spirit she came in contact with.
She was truly the sunshine of her family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Virginia (Horne) Dillow.
She is survived by her husband, Duane A. Pittenger; a daughter, Virginia M. Miller and her husband Sean of York, Pa.; her brothers, Paul Dillow, Dennis Dillow and Michael Dillow, all of Baltimore; her sisters, Donna Holdiness of Corbin, Ky., and Christine Rotonda of Hunt Valley, Md.; and two granddaughters, Eleanna Mae Miller and Emalena Marie Miller.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call one hour prior.
Interment will be private.
Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20771 Professional Park Blvd., Unit 1, Georgetown, DE 19947; or American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10th St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
