DENTON, Md. - W. Glenn Blades died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2013, at his home. Born in Easton, Md. on Sept. 18, 1951, Mr. Blades was the son of Doris Marie Butler Blades of Denton and the late William Wilson Blades who died on May 15, 2011. Glenn was a life-long farmer on the family farm outside Denton. He had also worked as a sales clerk in the parts department of Elliott Wilson Trucks for 34 years. He was a member of the Caroline Farm Bureau. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed camping, crabbing and loved spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, Glenn is survived by his wife, Bonnie Thomas Blades of Denton; one daughter, Connie Blades Randolph and her husband David of Norristown, Pa.; one son, Allan Blades and his wife Diana of West Deptford, N.J.; five grandchildren, Emma, Gillian, and Darby Blades and David and Morgan Randolph. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, Feb. 9, 2013 at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 6 until 8 on Friday evening.
