DOVER - Virginia Mae Wooster passed away Tuesday, June 14, at Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 93. Virginia was born on Jan. 12, 1918, in Machiponga, Va., daughter of the late William and Edna (Morris) Ward. Virginia lived for many years in New Castle where she worked as a salesperson in many departments and a bakery. She moved to Luther Towers in 1985 and was a member of the Capitol Baptist Church, Dover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wooster; infant son, Paul Wooster; and two grandchildren, Juanita Atkinson, and James P. Farrall. Virginia is survived by three children, Virginia Atkinson of Smyrna, Leota Farrall and her husband James of Wyoming, and Kenneth Wooster of Dover; five grandchildren, two of the Dover area, Wanda Atkinson and Pam Altemus, and Kenneth, Peggy, and Rebecca, all of California; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Sunny Ridge Memorial Park, Crisfield, Md. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
