Virginia 'Ginny' M. Osowski, 86
MILLSBORO - Virginia "Ginny" M. Osowski, of Millsboro, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Monday, June 2, 2008, in the Renaissance Health Care Center, Millsboro. She was 86.
She was born in Wilmington daughter to the late Dominick and Domenica (D'Alizio) Palmarella.
She was a retired restaurant hostess for the Dinner Bell, the Lamp Post and Bob Evans Restaurants, all in the Rehoboth area.
Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Osowski in 1992.
She is survived by her son, William J. Osowski (Jacqueline) of Smyrna; her daughter, Lonnie Brown of Rehoboth Beach; her brother, Ernest Palmarella of Wilmington; sister, Lena O'Toole (John) of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Ed Brown (Maureen) of Rehoboth Beach, and Tara Brown of Rehoboth Beach; three great-grandchildren, Connor, Jordan, and Nolan Brown; and a many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be noon Friday in St. Edmund's Catholic Church, Rehoboth Beach, King Charles and Laurel streets, Rehoboth Beach, where friends may call after 11 a.m.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ginny's memory to Meals on Wheels of Rehoboth Beach, 32409 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
