Virginia Lee Bradley

DENTON, Md. - Virginia Lee Bradley, of Denton, died March 19, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Easton. She was 78. Born in Greensboro, on Oct. 12, 1933, Mrs. Bradley was the daughter of the late Frank Lituski and Ella Knox Lituski. She lived all her life in Caroline County. She was a graduate of Greensboro High School. She worked at Playtex in Dover, Del., until 1958. She then went to work at the Peoples Bank of Maryland in Denton, until her retirement in the mid 1990's. She also worked at the Caroline Nursing Home as a dietary aid where she received her 15 years of service award in 2011. After her retirement from Peoples Bank, she opened a day care facility. She loved working with the children at her day care and the patients at the nursing home. Mrs. Bradley is survived by one son, Ernest B. Bradley Jr. and his wife Aimee of Greensboro; two grandchildren, Katherine L. Bradley of Denton and Ernest B. Bradley III of Greensboro; one great-grandson, Keith (Tre') Truxon, III; two step-grandchildren, Ron Dyda of Salisbury, and Rachael Dyda of Richmond, Calif.; and one brother, Leo Lituski of Dover; and her many day-care babies. She is preceded in death by her special friend, Norris Williams. She is also predeceased by one sister, Dorothy Mace; one brother, Bud Lituski; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Baynard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, at the St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church on First St. in Denton. Friends may visit with the family at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. at 12 S. Second Street in Denton from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday evening. The interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Greensboro. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, for friends to send memorial contributions to St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church, PO Box 459, Ridgely, MD 21660.
