Virginia L. (McKay) Malcolmson, 82
WESTWOOD, Ma. - Virginia L. (McKay) Malcolmson of Westwood, formerly of Milford and Dover, Del., passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, in Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was 82.
Born and raised in Canton, Mrs. Malcolmson graduated from Canton High School.
She worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone before retiring.
Mrs. Malcolmson lived in Delaware for many years before moving to Westwood in 2003.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon Malcolmson.
She is survived by a son, P. Scott Malcolmson and his wife Jennifer Ringland of Westwood; a granddaughter, Olivia Malcolmson; a sister, Louise Leary of Canton; and a brother, Walter McKay of Attleboro.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., Canton.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton.
Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. John School Foundation, P.O. Box 604, Canton, MA 02021.
