ELLENDALE - Violetta 'Cookie' A. Reed passed away peacefully at Milford Memorial Hospital on Thursday April 7, 2016. Mrs. Reed enjoyed watching the hummingbirds from her kitchen window, as well as watching NASCAR. She is survived by her three sons, David Warrington, Craig Jones and Shannon Reed; step-children Lynn McIntyre, and John Reed; step-son-in-law, Jim McIntyre; step-mother, Louise Reed; and grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Jesse, and Eric McIntyre. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reed; her mother, Anna Warrington; her father, David Warrington; and step-father, John Reed. A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Henlopen Memorial Park in Milton.
