Violet Wellmer Macey, 91

GREENSBORO, Md. - Violet Wellmer Macey of Greensboro, formerly of Pasadena, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in Memorial Hospital of Easton.

Mrs. Macey was born Nov. 4, 1915, in Baltimore, daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret Monghan Wellmer.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Macey enjoyed gardening and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace T. Macey II; a brother, Alfred Wellmer; and two sisters, Margaret Wellmer and Edna Brown.

She is survived by two sons, Horace T. Macey III of Ocean Pines and John J. Macey of Floyd, Va.; four grandchildren, William Macey, John Macey, Jennifer Irle and Laura Eichorn; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro.

Burial will be private.
