McCrea, 81 MASSEY, MD - Violet May Collins McCrea passed away on Sept. 25, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family from cancer. Mrs. McCrea is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Eugene McCrea; children, Trudy Martin (Gary), Donna Riek (Howard), Bruce McCrea (Cheryl), Dawn Wall (Kevin) and Violet Wallace (Paul); two brothers; five sisters; two sister-in-laws, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 11 to 12 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Burial in Massey Cemetery.
