Viola G. (Reed) Cavender, 88

MILLSBORO - Viola G. (Reed) Cavender of Millsboro, formerly of Lewes, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, in Green Valley Terrace Nursing Home, Millsboro. She was 88.

She was born Dec. 19, 1918, in Delaware.

Viola enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and playing shuffleboard.

She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Carole Kilpatrick.

Mrs. Cavender is survived by her son, Philip C. Kilpatrick of Port Orange, Fla.; two grandchildren, Michele N. Alexander and her husband Corey of Dover and Philip C. Kilpatrick Jr. of Port Orange; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Alexander, Kaity Alexander and Cavan Alexander.

All services are private.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
