Vincent G. Colicchio of Georgetown went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 11, 2007, in Georgetown. He was 49.
Mr. Colicchio was born in Wilmington. He was a resident of the Stockley Center in Georgetown from early childhood.
He enjoyed singing, playing the drums, dancing and especially spending time with his dad. He was a participant of the Special Olympics for many years, winning several medals.
Mr. Colicchio will be sadly missed by his father, Rocco L. Colicchio of Lewes; his mother, Ramona Harrington of Jacksonville, Fla.; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gregory and Claudine Colicchio of Wilmington, Dr. Mark and Karen Colicchio of Spanish Fort, Ala.; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and David Canady of Elkton, Md., Mary Ann and Charles McGonigal of Wilmington, Karen and Kelly Protz of Silt, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery North, Bear.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Stockley Center, Donation Account MC-2, 26351 Patriots Way, Georgetown, DE 19947.
