MILLSBORO - Vienna L. Head of Millsboro, formerly of Harrisburg, Pa., passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was 65.
She was employed by Highmark Life Insurance Co. as a customer service representative in the claims department, retiring in 1998 before moving to the Millsboro area.
Mrs. Head was a member of the Long Neck United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women and a ladies auxiliary member at the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro.
She enjoyed fishing and boating.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, William Head; and two sons, Kenneth Alan Head and his wife, Sharon, of Hummelstown, Pa., and William Thomas Head of Oberlin, Pa.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. July 10 in the Long Neck United Methodist Church, 32051 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Vienna"s name to the American Cancer Society Sussex County Unit, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21805.

Robert P. "Jerry" Jaroszewski, 78
PORT PENN - Robert P. "Jerry" Jaroszewski of Port Penn, formerly of Georgetown, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007, in Broadmeadow Health Care, Middletown. He was 78.
Mr. Jaroszewski was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., son of the late Pauline (Jablonski) and Joseph Jaroszewski.
He retired from the State of Delaware, where he worked at Sussex Vo-Tech, Georgetown. He was also retired from the U.S. Army after serving his country for 24 years. During those years, he served two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea.
Mr. Jaroszewski was a member of the VFW Post 838 in Port Penn, past commander of Sussex Memorial Post 7422 in Georgetown, and a member of VFW Post 7234 in Ocean View.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and three beloved dogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Fayetta (Pusey), in 1986; and two brothers, John and Edward Jaroszewski.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Beverly (Petrylak); two daughters, Polli Funk of New Castle and Nancy Jaroszewski of Greenwood; two step-daughters, Linda Whaley of Townsend and Karen LeCates of Laurel; five grandchildren, Amber, Donald, Kim, Brian and Matthew; five great-grandchildren, Kait, Matt, Ryan, Dylan and Jared; and a brother, Donald Jaroszewski of Niagara Falls.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday in Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Union Cemetery, East Adams Street, Georgetown.
