Vesta Marie Dalton, 77
DOVER - Vesta Marie Dalton, of Dover, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, in Silver Lake Health Care, Dover. She was 77.
Mrs. Dalton was born Sept. 26, 1930, on Arista Mountain, W.Va., to the late Mr. and Mrs. John D. Bailey of Princeton, W.Va.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking and swimming in her backyard pool with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frank Dalton Jr., on Sept. 26, 2003; and her son, Gary F. Dalton, on Dec. 5, 2006.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Dalton and Avery Dalton and his wife Debra, all of Dover; her daughter, Vicky DiNetta and her husband Louis of Middletown; six grandchildren, Natalie Kilby, Allegra DiNetta, Adam DiNetta, Allyssa DiNetta, Matthew Dalton and Andrew Dalton; and four great-grandchildren, Wesley Russem, Eva Kilby, Aurora Kilby and Scarlett Kilby.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Princeton.

Olivia Jenette Ford, 87
SEAFORD - Olivia Jenette Ford, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Johnson, was born March 12, 1920, in Finchville, Md. She departed this life peacefully at the Seaford Center on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008. She was 87.
Olivia attended school church in Finchville in her early years, and often spoke of fond memories of her early years there.
She later moved to Philadelphia and was united in marriage to Charles Ford.
Olivia had a heart full of love and kindness. She was generous and giving, always thinking of others.
Olivia enjoyed being with family and friends.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Charles H. Ford; sons, Charles Ford Jr. and Frank Ford; and daughter, Barbara Berry.
She leaves to cherish her memory four special nieces, Kathleen White and Bettye Ricketts, both of Seaford, Florine Waters of Selbyville, Md., and Estella Ricketts of Federalsburg, Md.; two nephews, William Ricketts of Hillsboro, Md., and Norwood Ricketts of Newark; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wonderful memories will forever remain in Olivia's loved ones' thoughts and hearts. She will be truly missed.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Seaford, where friends may view from 9 to 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Federal Hill Cemetery, Federalsburg.
