Vaughn P. Austin Jr., 81
FELTON - Vaughn P. Austin Jr. of Felton died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, in his home. He was 81.
Mr. Austin was born in Felton, son of the late Vaughn P. Sr. and Minnie Hammond Austin.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.
He was a farmer.
Mr. Austin was a member of American Legion Harrington Post 7.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sis-ter, Joyce Lindale.
He is survived by a sister, Ruth Reese of Felton; a niece, Jeanne Carter of Felton; a nephew, James Reese of Delavan, Ill.; two great-nephews; and a great-niece.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Bay Road, Frederica.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Harrington American Legion Post 7, 17448 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, DE 19952.
