Valerie (Lonsdale) Gunther

DOVER - Valerie (Lonsdale) Gunther of Dover, a former resident of Horsham, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008. She was 58.

Valerie was the beloved wife of the late Morgan Gunther; mother of Kathy, Steven and Carol; and stepmother of Keith and Melissa.

She is also survived by three grandsons, Brad, David and William; nine granddaughters, Taylor, Morgan, Briana, Hanna, Natalya, Victoria, Bryn, Elizabeth and Nadia; her sisters, Leah and Lisa; and a brother, Robert.

Valerie was a graduate of Abington High School.

She worked at Prudential and lovingly cared for children in her home for many years.

Her children and grandchildren were her life.

She enjoyed spending time at Camp Oaks, quilting and doing for others.

Valerie was the daughter of Mildred Leah (Reese) Lonsdale and Chester Chelman Lonsdale.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Horsham Township Community Center, 1025 Horsham Road, Horsham.

Memorial donations may be made in support of Autism research at www.autismspeaks.org.

Local arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
