MILFORD - Ursula R. Renk, of Milford, formerly of Pembroke, Mass., died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, in Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 68.
Mrs. Renk was born in Glogau, Germany, the daughter of the late Fritz and Else (Linke) Brandt.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church, Milford.
Mrs. Renk was quite talented when it came to knitting, sewing, and crocheting. As her children were growing up, she would make most of the clothing that they wore.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Klaus-Peter P. Renk; two daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie P. and John Freeman Jr. of Plymouth, Mass., and Michelle A. McGarvey, of New Holland, Pa.; two grandchildren, John Freeman III and Joshua Freeman; one sister, Waltraut Zima and her husband Otto; and two brothers, Wolfgang Brandt and his wife Hannelu and Udo Brandt and his wife Heidi, all of Germany; five nephews and four nieces, also of Germany.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where friends may call from 1 -2 p.m.
Burial will be private in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Mass.
The family requests no flowers that contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society, 9 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
