DOVER - Tyler Kirk Albertson suddenly passed away Sat., morning, Mar. 21, 2015. Tyler was born Jul. 8, 1987 in Dover to Kirk D. Albertson and Candace Cravens Albertson. He had attended Caesar Rodney High School and upon receiving his G.E.D. went on to pursue a career in firefighting that he had dreamed of since he was a toddler. Tyler was a member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, West Lanham Hills Volunteer Fire Department #28, West Lanham Hills Volunteer Fire Department #48, Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department #7, Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department #15, and still current member of the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department #4 before finally becoming a fulltime member of the Baltimore City Fire Department. He spent his entire brief adult life serving the communities of the Easton Shore and Western mainland of Maryland. Tyler received numerous certificates and accolades as a fireman. He was loved and will surely be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William S. "Bud" Cravens; and his two grandmothers, Dolores Albertson and Roslyn P. Moore. Tyler is survived by his parents, Kirk and Candace Albertson of Wyoming; two beautiful children, Sean Michael Albertson (5) and Brooke Morgan Albertson (3); grandfather, Edward M. Albertson of Wyoming; his fiancé, Jaime Simpson; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 1PM, Sat., Mar. 28, 2015 at Torbert funeral chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 11-1PM. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, for Sean and Brooke Albertson Trust Fund, Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904.
