ST. LOUIS - Troy Cade Parker of St. Louis died Friday, March 30, 2007, in St. Louis after a sudden illness. He was 32.
Mr. Parker was born May 20, 1974, in Milford, Del. At age 16, he completed his freshman year of college at George Mason University, Va., and then on for two more years at the University of Chicago. In 1991, he completed a summer program in Waxahachie, Texas, working on the Superconducting Supercollider.
He enjoyed flowers, gardening and playing the piano.
Mr. Parker made many friends over the years working for Allfirst Bank in Millsboro, Del., U.S. Bank in St. Louis and NCR Corp.
He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buster and Leva Parker of Norwalk, Calif., and his maternal grandfather, Robert Booth of Greenwood, Del.
He is survived by his parents, Keith and Bonnie (Booth) Parker of Milford; two brothers, Brian Parker of Salt Lake City, Derek Parker and his wife, Kyong; two sisters, Coty Ferenchak and her husband, John and Tyra Parker of Bel Air, Md.; three nieces, Monica Parker, Nicole Parker, both of Ellicott City, Md., Amy Ferenchak of Tucson, Ariz.; a nephew, Jack Ferenchak of Tucson; and his maternal grandmother, Geneva Booth of Greenwood.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, with the Rev. Gloria Attix officiating.
Burial will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
