FREDERICA - Tina Potts passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at 7:34 a.m. in her home in Frederica.
Tina Potts (Chong Cha Yun) was born in Hiroshima-Ken, Japan and lived most of her childhood life in Seoul Korea. On Aug. 21, 1964 she married Michael Potts (deceased 6/21/96), and spent most of her adult life in Dover.
She is survived by her three boys, whom she cared for and loved so dearly; Joseph D. Giovinazzo, spouse Emily Giovinazzo, children Josi, Gianna and Ava. Thomas D. Giovinazzo, spouse Kelly Letter Giovinazzo, children Mia and Nick. Michael D. Giovinazzo. Tina is also survived by her companion, James Withrow of Frederica, whom she cherished and loved until her passing.
Tina was a long-standing member of Maple Dale Country Club, and won many tournaments there during her golfing career. Tina was a parishioner at People's Church of Dover.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at 2 p.m., at Torbert Funeral Home South, 1145 S. Dupont Highway (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
