GEORGETOWN - Timothy F. Sheahan of Georgetown died from severe injuries Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, in Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore. He was 42.
Mr. Sheahan was born Sept. 5, 1964, in West Nyack, N.Y.
His life took him from volunteering as an EMT, to being a police dispatcher, to working and living in Georgetown with a group of caring and committed friends. He will be most remembered for being a sweet, kind-hearted man.
Mr. Sheahan was an avid NASCAR fan who cheered for Tony Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; and his grandparents, Mary and Timothy Sheahan and Kathleen and Timothy Holland.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Sheahan; a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Lee Ellen Sheahan; two nieces, Rebecca Sheahan and Colleen Sheahan; a nephew, Kevin Patrick Sheahan; and a loving friend, Suzanne Harrison.
Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Grace Presbyterian Church, 350 McKee Road, Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be private and at a later date.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam"s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
