LAUREL - Thurron Gardner Hitchens, 51, a native of Laurel, was born on Dec. 19, 1959, and suddenly departed this life on Oct. 29, 2011. He was the son of the late Sylvia Oney and Earl Kellam, Sr. Thurron leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Joyce Milbourne Hitchens, and two children, Joél and Joyell Hitchens. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at the United Deliverance Bible Center, 532 W. 7th Street, Laurel, with visitation Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 1 to 2 p.m. All services are entrusted to Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Salisbury, Md.
