Thurman Lee Sears, 80
LINCOLN - Thurman Lee Sears of Lincoln died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 80.
Mr. Sears was born Feb. 26, 1926, in Currituck County, N.C., son of the late William Henry and Annie J. Sears.
He lived in North Carolina in his early years and left to live in Baltimore.
He later moved to Delaware and worked for Morgan Co.
Mr. Sears loved to do yard work and ride his bicycle.
He is survived by two sisters, Willow Mae Church of Lincoln and Lenora S. Bailey of Millsboro; a brother, Leasell Sears of Shiloh, N.C.; a brother-in-law, Isaiah Bailey of Millsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services were Dec. 28 in Missionary Baptist Church, U.S. 9, Georgetown.
Burial was in Zoar Golden Acres Cemetery, Selbyville.
Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
