Thomas "Buzzy" Wyatt, Jr. passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Thomas was born on February 21, 1948 to the late Nellie and Thomas Wyatt, Sr. in Milford, Del.
Buzzy dedicated 20 years of service, working highway maintenance with DelDOT, which he retired from in August, 1994. In his free time, Buzzy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to his police scanner, eating ice cream, watching old Western movies and site seeing, which he was able to do as he drove the Amish around. In earlier years he loved to brag about his son, Tom playing baseball and he supported his daughter, Lissa, with her Girl Scout Cookie Sales.
In addition to his parents; Buzzy was preceded in death by sister, Shirley Vincent.
Buzzy is survived by sons, William of Oakland, Calif., Thomas (Tiffany) of Lincoln; daughters, Tammy Reed of Milton, Lissa Franklin (Sean) of Dover and Cheryl Fletcher of Manassas, Va.; sister, Jeanette Foster (John) of Dover; grandchildren, Ashlynn Yencer (Dustin), Lila and Parker Franklin, Paul and Christopher Reed, Grace and Kasey Wyatt; great grandchildren, Grayson Yencer and Kenny Malone; ex-wife/friend, Cynthia Wyatt.
Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd. (Rt. 10), Dover. A viewing will be held from 1-2 p.m.
