Thomas Robert 'Bob' Willim, 88
DOVER - Thomas Robert "Bob" Willim, of Dover, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008, in Westminster Center, Dover. He was 88.
He was born on April 4, 1919, in Easton, Md., to the late Thomas and Florence Johnson Willim.
Bob was a member of The Camera Club, where he enjoyed taking and printing pictures.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Maple Dale Country Club since 1972 and was active in the ongoing operations.
Bob grew up in Dover and graduated from Dover High School.
He served in the Army with the coast artillery and in the Philippines during World War II.
He worked with automotive parts until he retired in 1982.
Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maud Willim of Dover; a sister-in-law, Rosie Blendt of Lincoln; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Trader Funeral Home, Dover.
Graveside services and burial will follow at 1 p.m. in the Lake Side Cemetery, Dover.
