MILFORD - Thomas P. Webb, age 86, lifelong resident of Milford, passed away, Thursday, July 14, 2011, in his home. Mr. Webb was born in Milford, son of the late Francis Albert, Jr., and Sarah (Sipple) Webb. He was a lifelong farmer in Milford Neck. He and his family had a love of farming and owned and operated F.A. Webb and Son. He was a lifetime active member and held many positions within Sardis United Methodist Church in Thompsonville. In addition to his love for farming, he also had a great love for his family and enjoyed his time spent with them. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth S. "Betty" Webb; a grandson, Thomas E. Webb, Jr.; and two brothers, James S. Webb and William H. Webb. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, JoAnn (Walls) Webb; one son, Thomas E. Webb, Sr. and wife Aileen, and their son, Stephen M. Webb; a daughter, Jo Ann Davis and her sons, Mark and wife Trish, Wayne and wife Shannon; and daughter, Aileen Webb Maloney and husband Barry, and three children, Ryan and wife Ali, Clay and Jenna; six great-grandchildren, Stone and Summer Davis, Cole, Ali Mae and Beau Davis and Chase Maloney; and a brother, Francis Albert Webb, III. He is also survived by four step-children and their families, Chris and Sarita Banning and daughters, Shiloh, Spenser and Sterlyn, Robin and Gary Kemper and sons, Kyle and Joshua, Kelly and Bryon Warren and daughters, Bryn and Kacie, Joanna and Usef Weeks and children, Candace and Usef Weeks, Jr. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2011, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, with visitation Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Entombment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
