LINCOLN - Thomas H. Harrington Jr. of Lincoln died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, in his home. He was 57.
Mr. Harrington was born Oct. 12, 1949, in Milford, son of the late Thomas Henry Sr. and Pauline (Pugh) Harrington.
He was a 1968 graduate of Milford High School.
Mr. Harrington served in the Delaware Army National Guard for six years in Milford.
He had been owner of Harrington's Equipment Co. in Lincoln since 1972.
He loved his horses and loved golfing at Shawnee Country Club.
Mr. Harrington was a member of Shawnee Country Club, Milford Elks Lodge 2401 and the U.S Trotting Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rodney J. Harrington, in 1994.
He is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Amy and Chad Reed of Lincoln; two sisters, Linda P. Short of Georgetown and Diane Camper of Milford; a grandson, Tyler Reed; his former wife, Linda Russell of Ellendale; three nephews, Norman Short of Georgetown, Eric Camper of Gumboro and Darren Camper of Milford; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St., Milford, where friends may call after 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, North Walnut Street, Milford. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
