Presley, 61 FELTON - Thomas Edward 'Tommy' Presley, departed this life and passed on to glory Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He was born in Tazewell County Va., to the late Orba and Helen Presley on Saturday, January 20, 1951. At the age of three, the family moved to Wilmington, Del. were he eventually played for the New Castle County Little League. In the early seventies, Tom and his American Quarter Horse, participated in event riding at the Double J Riding Stables. They received various ribbons including blue ribbons for barrel racing and roping. He also enjoyed fishing and loved spending time outdoors. He respected animal life and had a special place in his heart for dogs. He was a very warm and gentle person. Tom worked as a Commericial Painter Supervisor for the Pastel and Color Works Painting Companies until his retirement. He is survived by his son, Thomas James 'TJ' Presley of Felton; a granddaughter, ToriLee Presley, of Boca Raton, Fla; two brothers, Josh (Patti) Presley of Lincoln, and Rick (Brenda) Presley of New Castle; five sisters, Jean Wileman of New Castle, Nancy Burton of Lincoln, Ruth (Bob) Segletes of Lincoln, Patricia Seward of New Castle, and Rosemary (Bob) Reichelt of Lincoln; father-in-law, James Loveless; brother-in-law, Steven Loveless; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and his beloved dog, Bella. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Debra Lee Loveless Presley in 2011; his mother, Helen G. Presley in 1998; his father, Orba L. Presley Sr. in 2001; sister, Bessie Ann Presley in 1974; and a brother, Orba L. 'Bubby' Presley Jr. in 1990. Burial will be private. A gathering of remembrance for Tommy will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the home of his sister, Ruth Segletes, 21119 Jefferson Rd., Lincoln, DE.
