BARCLAY, Md. - Thomas Edward Franks Sr. of Barclay died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, in his home. He was 54.
Mr. Franks was born May 21, 1952, in Baltimore, son of the late John R. Franks Sr. and Helen Kilroy Franks of Linthicum.
He was a truck driver for Frock Brothers Trucking in New Oxford, Pa.
Mr. Franks attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marydel.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Franks.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Celeste Franks; two sons, Thomas E. Franks Jr. of Glen Burnie and Joseph Franks of Barclay; two daughters, Rachel Franks and Shannon Franks, both of Barclay; his mother, Helen Kilroy Franks of Linthicum; three brothers, John R. Franks Jr. of Baltimore, Douglas Franks of Linthicum and Anthony "Tony" Franks of West Virginia; three sisters, Sharon Russell of Linthicum, Kathleen Beck of Severn and Lisa Cunningham of Linthicum; and two grandsons, Brian Franks of Ferndale and Shawn Franks of Glen Burnie.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Greensboro Cemetery.
