SEAFORD - Theresa Elizabeth (Skau) Glanville of Seaford, formerly of Baltimore, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Genesis Healthcare, Seaford. She was 92.
Mrs. Glanville was born Feb. 20, 1915, in Baltimore, daughter of the late Lawrence Skau and Marie (Vechio) Pierce. In 2004, she moved from Violetville, Md., to Seaford.
While living in the Baltimore area, she was a member of Lovely Lane United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Eagles Club, an avid Orioles fan and she bowled on several leagues.
Mrs. Glanville enjoyed sewing, reading and her pet cats, but most of all she loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George "Tom" Glanville; a daughter, Marie Bauer; a grandson, George "Tom" Glanville III; and a brother, Norman Skau.
She is survived by a son, George "Tommy" Glanville Jr. of Springfield, Ore.; her grandchildren, Lisa and Darin Cabalona, Linda and Tom Peters and Lou and Kathy Bauer; and her great-grandchildren, Adrienne and Brent Bauer, and Jeremy, Nathaniel and Noah Cabalona.
A memorial service will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Parsell Funeral Home & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville.
The Rev. Dale Brown will be officiating.
Interment will be private in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Baltimore.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Lovely Lane United Methodist Church, 2200 St. Paul St., Baltimore, MD 21218; or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of the Greater Delaware Valley, One Reed St., Suite 200, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
