MILFORD - Theresa DeBroske Thoms, age 75, died Thursday, April 7, 2011, in Milford after a brief illness. Theresa was born in Peekskill, N.Y., on Jan. 6 1936, to Alador Valadmir DeBroske and Anna Viravec DeBroske. She graduated from Peekskill High School. She was a member of The Church of The Assumption in Peekskill and of The Sacred Heart Church in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Terry was retired from the Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, N.Y. Hobbies she enjoyed included traveling, boating, camping, and competitive roller-skating. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Henry Randall Thoms; a brother, John Michael DeBroske and his wife Arlene; her son, James Michael Conklin and his wife Valerie Delamater Conklin; and a grandson, Daniel Conklin of Hyde Park, N.Y. Funeral services were April 13, 2011, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham, Mass. Interment was at Gethsemene Cemetery in West Roxbury, Mass.
