GEORGETOWN - Theodore Other Harris, of Georgetown, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 80. Theodore was born in Hillsboro, Md., the son of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Collins) Harris. He was a custodian and plumber for the State of Delaware for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and carving and made furniture for the family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to McDonalds with the Boys. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eleven siblings. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cora "Louise" Harris; two children, Tami Hall and her husband Alex of Milton and Ted Harris and his wife Darcy of Bear; sister, Evelyn Mumford of Millsboro; grandchildren, Jennifer Sapienza and her husband Joseph, Steven Swain and his wife Chelsea, Corporal Daniel Hall, Christina Harris, and Jonathan Harris; and four great-grandchildren, Annabella, Reagan, Kadence and Juliana. Funeral Services will be noon, Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
