Bailey, 84

WARWICK, Md. - Thelma Wallace Bailey of Warwick, Md. died May 28, 2007, in Sunbridge Nursing Home, Elkton, Md. She was 84.

Mrs. Bailey was born on June 22, 1922, in Irwin, Pa., daughter of the late Charles and Ella Snyder Wallace.

In 1946, she and her husband moved to Cecil County where she raised her family.

She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and taught Vacation Bible School.

She enjoyed gardening, and baking.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Allan W. Bailey in 1990; a daughter, Sue Ellen Pardee; a brother, Charles J. Wallace; a sister, Katherine M. McMichael; and a great-granddaughter, Felicia Pardee.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by a daughter, Donna Anderson and her husband, William of Elkton; a son, Dr. Eugene A. Bailey of Apex, N.C.; a son-in-law who cared for her, James Pardee Sr. of Cecilton; a brother, Earl L. Wallace of Lancaster, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Frances Bailey of Warwick; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday in Zion United Methodist Church, Cecilton, Md., where friends may call one hour prior.

Interment in Zion Cemetery, Cecilton, Md.
