SEAFORD - Thelma Langford Allen of Seaford died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. She was 84.
She was born in Farmington, the daughter of the late Lillian Guthrie and George Langford.
Mrs. Allen worked for the former First National Bank of Seaford.
After retiring from the bank, she worked in her late husband Dr. Ira Benson Allen"s office as a receptionist.
Mrs. Allen was a member of St. John"s United Methodist Church and a member of the Seaford Historical Society.
She is survived by her son, Michael H. Vincent and his wife, Elaine of Seaford; granddaughter, Michelle Middleton; three great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Phyllis Wilson of Seaford.
Services and burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to The Parkinson"s Disease Center at Johns Hopkins, 601 N. Caroline St., Baltimore, MD 21287; or to the Benevolent Fund at the Methodist Manor House, 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford, DE 19973.
