LEWES - Thelma H. Morris, was called home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 26, 1921 in Lewes, Delaware to the late William & Ella Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband Winston W. Morris, Sr., her two sons, Winston T. Morris, Jr. & Martin Wayne Morris; one daughter, Janet Morris-Watson; her twin sister, Meredith Morris; and other family members. Thelma was well known for her cooking and baking skills which she lovingly prepared for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as the entire neighborhood. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Merle Ann Morris and Elda Wright; and son, Harvey C. (Carolyn) Morris all of Lewes. Services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Israel United Methodist Church where friends may call from 10 to 12 noon with service to follow. Interment at Israel UMC cemetery. Contributions can be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, De 19963. Arrangements in the care of Robert Miller Funeral Services.
