HARRINGTON - T. Cora Bonniwell passed away at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Byron "Buddy" and Thelma Kemp.
Cora worked in the Economic Development Office with the State of Delaware as an Administrative Assistant for 42 years. She is also a life member of the Harrington Volunteer Fire Company. She was a graduate of the Felton High School class of '66.
Cora's life revolved around her family and grandkids, Chase and Wyatt, she loved to spend as much time as she could with them. She also enjoyed traveling, watching shopping networks, online shopping and being outside. Cora was known as one of the nicest person who worried about others above herself. She will be missed for her loving, caring, thoughtful ways.
Cora is survived by her loving husband, William T. Bonniwell; son, Aaron (Christie) Bonniwell; grandsons, Chase and Wyatt Bonniwell; sisters, Denise Abbott and Joyce Lynch; as well as all who knew her.
Memorial Services will take place at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, on February 27, 2021 at 11 a.m. A visitation for family and friends will take place at the funeral home on one hour prior to the service. We are adhering to the CDC and Delaware guidelines of occupancy limits, social distancing, and masks.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Harrington Ladies Auxillary, 20 Clark St., Harrington, DE 19952.
