DOVER - T. Carolyn Berner passed away Thursday, Jan. 7th in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. T. Carolyn was born Aug. 13 1933 in Lockport, NY, Daughter of the late Frank and Georgia (Benedict) Grout. She retired from Lockport Memorial Hospital and with her late husband, moved to Dover. T. Carolyn enjoyed ceramics and attending the senior swim club at the Modern Maturity Center daily for many years. Loving wife of the late Edward C. Berner Sr. for 45 years. She is survived by her son and his wife, Edward C. Berner Jr. and Jacqueline Berner of Dover; a daughter, Darlene Berner; two brothers, Frank and Earl Grout; and four grandchildren, Nicole Ruiz, Rebecca Berner, Tiffany Ruiz, and Stephen Davis. Remembrance service will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14th in Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery, Dover.
