MAGNOLIA - Svitlana Vitaliyivna Warner passed away, Saturday March 9, 2024, at Kent General Hospital.
Svitlana was born April 18, 1975, in Zhytomyr, Ukraine to Nataliya Baronina and the late Vitaliy Trochinsky.
She was a homemaker and had earned a BA Degree in education from Zhytomyr Institute. Svitlana was a well-educated woman with excellent memory. She spoke three languages, English, Russian, and Ukrainian. She had an impeccable memory and would never forget a name. She taught English, Russian and world literature in a high school in Zhytomyr, before she emigrated to America to marry her husband Mark. She was outgoing and loved to meet people. She was concerned for nature. She was helpful. She also loved the beach. She would combine those two things by spending time flipping horseshoe crabs who had ended up on their backs, so they could be the right way. She ran the house and did general handyman tasks, taking care of many different things. This in addition to being the family CFO. She found time to garden and grew fruits and vegetables. She loved to eat natural foods. She was an adventurous eater she was willing to try many new foods. It was seldom she found something she didn't like. The thing she loved the most was being a homemaker and mother. She was a conscientious teacher of her son, as she home schooled him.
Svitlana is survived by her mother, Nataliya Baronina of Magnolia; her husband of 24 years, Mark T. Warner of Magnolia; and son, Michael N. Warner of Magnolia.
Graveside services will be held 9AM, Friday, March 15, 2024, at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
